It's not the cost of the class that bothers me...if they guy wants to do it for free or if he is just selling certificates like the gun shows..nothing I can do about...It's when people commit then either don't show or cancel at the last minute...

At least you got a call. I had a class scheduled with 6 people and had 5 no-shows...so I teach for 5 hours for $65.00.

I get that all the time, people think I can do permit drawings for a building for pocket change. They must think I do hundreds of them a week, or that I like living in extreme poverty.
I'm considering requiring a deposit or requiring my fees be placed in an escrow account before I begin work, since too many clients simply don't or won't pay these days.
